Introduction
Children among others are considered the vulnerable victims of wars all over the world. Syrian children
are amongst the ones affected by the conflicts and horrific events which they had to go through which
had caused them serious physical, mental and psychological wounds that could leave long term
consequences on the entire generation of children; therefore, on the entire Syrian society. From the womb
of this human catastrophic crisis “Kerim” was born, to fill the urgent need of extending our hands in order
to help and bring hope to the Syrian future, refugees in general, and children in particular.
“Kerim” Association goes through challenges every day to compensate and fill up the gaps that these
children faces by offering them warm shelter and continuous support through the affectionate action by
providing care and love that would be able keep them away from fear and the cold streets.
“Kerim” Association has been established by Ms. ILaf Yasin AlMohamad to save those innocent souls
from suffering an endless agony especially the weakest segment of them from the war (kids & families).
Many of these kids have become orphans as the results of the war which killed their loved ones, leaving
them displaced, injured, disabled and driven many of them towards the street towards ignorance and
extremism.
Kerim Dernegi Objectives
-1) Raise awareness on the rights Syrian have to achieve self-sufficiency, and
To create a community adopts human rights and its social issues.
-2) Develop health and rehabilitation
comprehensive program -to help those Syrian refugee, and adapt the services to their expectations.
-3) Promote Syrian arts and craft that attract investors by designing an investment map to support local
economy.
-4) Create opportunities and increase workforce by skills upgrading -technical training and
human resources development, technical support on quality assurance aspects.

and vocational efforts.
-6) Ensure Safety, equity, diversity, and supporting civil peace.
-7) Establishing
orphanage to those victim of war and street children.
-8) To participate in the empowerment of women
and promote her participation and involvement in all sides of life based of capacity and capability.
-9) To participate in building the psychological balance to face all kinds of violence against women, by
educating them about their legal, economic and political rights, and make them aware of their role in the
development of society and their ability.

With the collaboration of some Syrians with Ms. AL Mohamad family "Kerim" has been founded to help
Syrian refugees in Turkey, aimed to providing Syrian children (war victims) who became orphans
with safe warm shelter.
Establish a containment of a safe environment by ensuring the medical, physical, psychological and educational care are being provided. Creation of dedicated programs, courses, and classes to help and educate Syrian children of all ages to overcome their difficulties and live God’s given normal life. Additionally, including the street children into our plans by taking the necessary steps to improve the language literacy, modify their behavior and prepare them to join schools. In future, they would be able to enter the labor market based on their preferences after reaching the age of maturity. Also, the rehabilitation and training of female minors, widows and war casualties from both gender to help them to reach what guarantees them a decent living.
Mission
Vision
Rescue and containment of every vulnerable parentless children, homeless children, injured and disabled individuals, and minor widows with their children. Providing medical and psychological treatment, educational and cultural systems that gives them useful skills to fit within the Turkish environment, with the preservation of Syrian identity.
